Fascinating Fun Facts: • MacKenzie-Childs was founded in 1983 by Richard and Victoria MacKenzie-Childs on a farm in Aurora, New York • Courtly Check is the company's original and most recognized pattern, in continuous production since the brand's founding • Each check is hand-painted freehand rather than stenciled, so no two pieces are identical • The yellow and jewel-toned spots within the black and white checks are part of the hand-painting technique, not fading or wear • This piece has an enameled steel underbody rather than ceramic - a heavier, more durable construction used for the larger pedestal servingware Dimensions: 16 x 6 in Weight: 3 lb 7 oz
