Description
This antique Victorian vulcanite oval dangles brooch is a fascinating mourning jewelry piece. Crafted from vulcanite, it features concentric graduating faceted oval rings that create a dimensional, articulated design with gentle movement. Over time, the vulcanite has developed a brownish hue, typical of its aging process. The brooch’s geometric, architectural design with faceted edges reflects mid-to-late Victorian fashion trends and the era’s love for movement in jewelry. A unique addition to any antique or mourning jewelry collection, it’s a true piece of Victorian history.
