Vintage Mallory by Stetson 4X Beaver Fur Felt Western Hat (Double 'D' Model) Step back in time with this exceptional piece of authentic mid-century Americana. Produced after Stetson's acquisition of the historic Mallory brand, this Double D model highlights the finest of both worlds. Crafted from premium XXXX (4X) Beaver fur felt in a rich chocolate brown, it offers a luxurious hand-feel and rugged durability that outclasses modern factory hats.   Condition: Pre-owned / Vintage Good vintage condition. The 4X Beaver felt is highly structured, dense, and clean. No major crushing or moth damage. Inner sweatband and lining show minimal light/fair wear. Inner band has a small tear near the Double D marking shown in pictures. Small dots on felt. It features its original distinctively woven multi-tone geometric accent hatband, complete with a bright yellow and orange side feather plume.
