Description
This is a vintage metal oval spring-tension embroidery hoop. It consists of a solid inner metal ring lined with cork and an outer adjustable metal ring wrapped around it. The small tightly wound spring on the side acts as a tension mechanism. You place your fabric over the inner ring and stretch the spring-loaded outer ring over both to clamp the fabric tightly in place while you sew, embroider, or complete cross-stitch work.
