Rare vintage French Chef Omelet Pan made by The Pot Shop, Boston, Massachusetts. This substantial handcrafted pan features a spun metal body with a turned hardwood handle and is stamped on the underside:  “THE FRENCH CHEF OMELET PAN – MADE BY THE POT SHOP – BOSTON 16 MASS.”  This is an uncommon piece of Boston cookware history and would make an excellent addition to a collection of vintage cookware, Julia Child-inspired kitchenware, or handcrafted American culinary items.  The pan measures approximately 10 inches in diameter (see ruler photo) and has developed an attractive vintage patina from prior use. The interior is clean with light utensil marks consistent with age and normal cooking use. The wooden handle remains solid and attractive.
