Description
Stunning ivory handmade French cottage handmade crocheted coverlet! This must have taken hours and upon hours to make - prettiest raised popcorn details give it a beautiful texture. Closely woven knit. Material is thin but strong and comfortingly heavy. Gorgeous, super well made, made by a skillful and patient hand. Not sure the exact date it was made, definitely predates the midcentury, my best educated guess would be the 1930s. Reverse side is flat - see last 2 pics. Will fit a large range of decor styles- bohemian, cottage core, shabby chic, rustic, etc. Afghan measures 66 inches wide by 98 inches long, in other words, twin sized. Terrific condition - no holes, stains, pilling, odors. was just hand washed in my bathtub and is ready to use.
