Thailand Elephant Wood Carving Wall Hanging
132.00 $
Description
This is a Thai wood carving that can be used as a wall hanging or a decorative object.
About 40 years ago, my family was involved in the trading business, and they asked a sailor to purchase this item directly from Thailand.
When my family built a new house 25 years ago, I was given this item to display, but it didn't match the interior design, so it was stored in a closet.
It has never been displayed and is still in its original plastic wrapping, although it is peeling in some areas (photos 3, 11, 12, 13).
There are also original carving misalignments (photo 9),
original scratches (photo 10),
and scuffs where the plastic has peeled off (photos 11, 12).
Please refer to the photos for details.
My family used to hang similar items on the wall, but this one is made from a single piece of wood and is quite heavy, so it would also work well as a floor decoration.
Weight: 9.6kg
