Marimekko Finland HENNIKA Burgundy/Green Gold 54 Fabric 2.3 Yd Vintage 1950s 50s MCM Mid Century Modern marimekko oyj suomi fabric is dated 1953 and is very mid century modern. fabric was designed by Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi, who worked for Marimekko from 1953 to 1960. the extra wide color block stripes of burgundy, green and gold are difficult photograph. big repeat of 70 1/4, burgundy stripe is 28 1/4, gold stripe is 18 1/2 and the green stripe is 23 1/2. in excellent, new condition - never used. very small tear in the green section as shown in photo with penny. width is 54(57 wide including selvage edge) 84 long (2.3 yards) 100% cotton, made in Finland. this would make a great framed piece! please look at all photos carefully as there are no returns accepted.
