This is a Pearl Custom Classic One Piece Maple snare drum, a renowned model. 14x6.5 inches, 10-lug, brass hoops, made in Japan.
This is a single-ply maple snare drum with a shell formed from approximately 7.5mm thick maple wood. As it is made in Japan, it is likely a vintage item produced over 20 years ago.
It features the bright and full sound unique to single-ply maple snares. The 6.5-inch depth combined with brass hoops further emphasizes this, resulting in a warm and impactful sound.
While unavoidable given the quality of Pearl's chrome parts and brass hoops at the time, as shown in the photos, the lugs and hoops exhibit pitting and paint deterioration overall.
No noticeable scratches on the shell. We have play-tested and confirmed operation for this listing, but please understand that this is a player's condition item.
