White Oak Bokken (Medium Length) - Horinouchi Noboru Seisakusho - Sakura Toin
Thank you for looking.
White Birch Bokken - Chuto (Medium Length)
According to the engraving on the pommel, this bokken was made by the Horinouchi Noboru workshop in Miyakonojo City, Miyazaki Prefecture.
Sakura-to mark (photos 8-10)
The Horinouchi workshop is now closed.
The Horinouchi workshop's white birch chuto is rarely seen at auctions or elsewhere, making this a particularly rare item.
The weight, unique to white birch, is also a major appeal, making it suitable for suburi (swing practice). However, its excellent condition and beautiful appearance also make it a superb piece for collection and display as a vintage item.
Length: Approximately 92cm
Please note that this is a chuto (medium length), not a daito (long length).
While there are no signs of use, this is a pre-owned item. Please only purchase if you understand this.
