Description
Beautiful vintage Royal Carlton pattern 7917 teacup and large plate set, featuring a striking jade/emerald green ground with hand-painted pink floral decoration, shaded ivory-green foliage and delicate gold accents. The large plate measures approximately 8 inches across and features an elegant scalloped molded edge with gold trim. The coordinating teacup measures approximately 4 inches across and has floral decoration both inside and around the exterior, finished with a graceful gold-accented handle and footed base. Both pieces are marked ROYAL CARLTON with the distinctive crossed-arrow mark and 7917 pattern number. The combination of saturated green, soft pink flowers and hand-applied gold makes this an especially beautiful display set. Wonderful for a vintage china collection, teacup collection, cabinet display or an elegant gift. Good vintage condition with age-related wear to the gold decoration and light surface wear consistent with age and previous use. One tiny chip on edge of plate. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are part of the condition description.
