Heavy-duty vintage tortilla press marked “Hecho En Mexico” and No. 12, featuring solid cast-aluminum construction and a long lever handle for easy pressing.  This traditional manual press is useful for making:   * Homemade corn tortillas  * Flour tortillas  * Tostadas  * Empanadas  * Arepas and other flat doughs  The round pressing surface measures approximately 8 inches across. The hinged design opens fully for easy loading and cleaning, while the long handle provides leverage for pressing dough evenly.  The press opens, closes, and operates properly.
